JosephK Nikonian since 17th Apr 2006Mon 20-Apr-15 01:41 AMFor monitors and other constant DPI devices, DPI settings in the files are meaningless and are ignored. What matters are the actual pixel dimensions of the images.
The 72 DPI is not even accurate for modern monitors (closer to 110).
Printers are normally the only devices that use the DPI settings.

A standard widescreen "Full HD" TV uses the 1080p standard, which means that an image of 1920 x 1080 pixels will fill the screen with no re-sizing required. This applies whatever the physical size of the screen - 50 inch, 42 inch...Brian

Ineluki Registered since 03rd Aug 2011Mon 20-Apr-15 04:02 AMJoseph and Brian are right. I use on my Plasma screen what they recommend. One last hint: Though your picture can be big don`t use too much size. My Plasma accepts pictures maximum 1 MB of size.
