JosephK Nikonian since 17th Apr 2006Wed 10-Sep-14 07:20 PMThere is a goodly number of DXO threads on the first 5 pages of this forum. Do you have any specific questions? What camera(s) are you using?

Leatham Nikonian since 08th Jul 2012Mon 29-Sep-14 09:34 PMI process images in Optics Pro - horizon, distortion, perspective, microcontrast, shadow lighting, cropping etc, then switch to FilmPack Expert to choose the film look I prefer for that subject.
Further controls alter grain size, texture and historic toning effects. A final set of tools can apply preset light leaks for that "undeveloped film found in attic" look.
In my new blog my first two articles include:
The yellow car series: Showing the effects of each of the 18 preset colour filters applied to a monochrome conversion.
The second article shows all the FilmPack defaults: 28 monochrome; 12 colour print; and 24 slide films.
The monochrome set is interesting. I think it gives good starting points for high quality B&W work from RAW files.
