Nikon has relesed a new Codec version and how to clear up some image dispaly issues for the 64 bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

If thumbnails for NEF files fail to display correctly in the Photo Gallery or Photo Viewer for 64-bit editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7.

NEF Codec Ver.1.14.0

There are also instructions for Using Disk Cleanup to Correct the Display of NEF/NRW Thumbnails in 64-bit Windows 7/Windows Vista.
