"Your Favorite DVD Burning Software?"

Aliso Viejo, US

I just want to back-up and save images including NEF's to DVD. I don't care about all the fancy movie making #####. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hecky

On a PC, I have had consistent results with Sonic Record Now 7.3 (here's the link to the newest version http://www.sonic.com/products/Consumer/RecordNow/ ). No nonsense, simple interface.

Well, I was going to suggest Nero, but in the time since I bought version 5 it seems to have grown into a piece of all-singing all-dancing bloatware. That said, if the "Burning ROM" CD/DVD writing application remains basically the same as previous versions then it'll be straightforward and reliable to use.

I happen to like Nero also. I like the interface better than Roxio. I do have to admit it is getting big around the waist. With my version you can install only the stuff you want.

Well thanks for the replys and sorry abou the language. It seems Nero is one of the best and it came with my drive. I just thought I could get by with something with just a few features. I barely have enough time to edit images let alone learn complicated software.

Thanks Again,

Hecky

Nero. Seems to install and not conflict with things a lot better than Roxio. But it does include a lot of stuff I don't use.

Cheers,
