"Are RSS feeds broken again?"

Canberra, AU

I have been using RSS feeds to keep me informed about postings on 6 Nikonians forums.

For some reason 3 of these, the D700, the Sports and the Motor Sports seem to have stopped working. That is, since 22 February none of these have been updating and my RSS newsreader shows the broken link symbol for each of them.

The other 3 Nikonian RSS links I have do not show a broken links (but are updated very infrequently).

All of my other RSS feeds (I have about 25 or so) seem to be working fine.

Has something changed at Nikonians?

Since there has been no response to the OP I have investigated the broken RSS feeds a bit further.

The links which still work look like this in my RSS Readers (NetNewsWire and Vienna):

http://podcasts.nikonians.org/behindthelens.xml
http://podcasts.nikonians.org/imagedoctors.xml
http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheNikoniansPhotoprofessors?format=xml

The ones which do not work look like this:
http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=nik_rss&forum=226
http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=nik_rss&forum=190
http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=nik_rss&forum=167

Forum 226 is the D700 forum, 190 is the English Cafe and 167 is the Sports forum.

Interestingly, an RSS link to the D700 forum I created some months ago as a bookmark in Firefox shows two URLs, a Feed Location and a Site location. This still works correctly, opening the D700 forum page. The Site location is
http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=226
The Feed Location is
http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=nik_rss&forum=226

When I recreate the same RSS link bookmark in Firefox now it does NOT Work, showing documents from the Nikonians Blog instead of the D700 forum. The respective Firefox links are now - Site Location:
http://blog.nikonians.org/
and Feed Location:
http://blog.nikonians.org/index.xml

When I recreate these links using my RSS reader they also incorrectly show documents from the Nikonians blog and not from the Forum where the RSS link was obtained. My readers also tell me that I am trying to create an existing link if I create them in a row. That is, it cannot differentiate between the RSS links from the 3 forums.

I hope this provides sufficient information for the problem to be corrected.
