We've had lots of discussion about the "D800 Left AF Sensor issue" and focus accuracy in general.

I'm curious, has anyone tested all the sensors - or most of the sensors on earlier cameras? I suspect that most photographers have never found a need to do any testing outside of lens calibration, and certainly have not tested the extreme left or right sensors.

From my point of view, I have seven previous camera bodies and have not tested the far left sensor on any of them. I did test and found I had the left AF issue on the D800E, but it does not affect my results. After testing, I have a better understanding of the issue and how to avoid any impact until I send my camera for repair.
