I don't know if I like the CSM switch becoming an AF-M switch. I wouldn't want to go into the menus to select continuous or single servo. Interesting though.

This should be like the D7000.

With the switch on AF you push the button (in the middle of the switch) and rotate the command dial to change AF focus modes.

It looks the same as the D4. There's a button in the middle of the switch. You use the command dial to select AF-S or AF-C and the sub-command dial to select the number of points for tracking. On the D4 the selections are all visible in the viewfinder, so you can change the settings without taking the camera away from your eye.

Apparently the D7000 has a similar scheme.
