I know that some other Nikonians are going to Photokina, Cologne, Germany between 20-25th of September.

I'll be there on the Friday 22nd. Would be fun to meet some of you up there

Yes we keep in touch. I visit Photokina together with five
Photographers from IKEA. We have some appointments together with
suppliers and I haven’t get the plan yet but I will be in touch

Could those who are there take a closer look on the new G series 70-300 and compare it to the older 70-300?
I am interested what you think about it (mechanics, feeling, you will probably not be able to say much about optics on a fair).

The US Government, in its infinite wisdom and boundless generosity, is sending me to Photokina on Thursday, 21 September, together with another Nikonian, Wendy (aka bbleigh), since we work for the same outfit. Sorry, Bo, looks like I'm going to miss seeing you by one day!

I was thinking of printing out the Nikonians Logo as a name badge - since few of us have ever met, identifying other Nikonians might be a problem. Any thoughts?

Maybe next time, Nikonians will have its own stand?

By the way, Bo, I still intend to fly down to Lahr or your local airfield to meet up with you one of these days. A combination of rotten weather and unavailable aircraft - our club only has one Tomahawk with intercoms, and I won't fly passangers without - has prevented me. We'll get round to it, though. Promise.

Hej Hallo from the dark woods in Sweden!
I arrival to Köln Tuesday 00-09-19 in the evening and leave Saturday 00-09-23 in the morning. So its presumably possible to meet the 21.
I will comeback as soon I know more details in our company plan for visiting. It will be sometimes under the coming week.

Nikon is in Hall 2.2, row F, booth 21.

I'll try to be there at 1400 local (2PM) on Friday, and if we all have some kind of badge based on the NIKONIANS logo with our names below "Nikonians" in the same dark yellow colour (I used Arial bold italic as a font), it'll be less like a blind date!

Twin overhead hydro-aperture and style chip cards for David Bailey, Robert Capa and Miss Saso! An 85 fps belt-feed motor drive with gas ejector mechanism and cassette collector...

Due to current workload, I will NOT be capable of attending the meeting of Nikonians at the Photokina... In fact, I will not be there at all

I am most displeased with this... The ones of you which I know by phone number will receive a call from me tomorrow.

I hope that the rest of you can meet up at the Nikon stand. I also hope that Jalle, Mike, Wendy and the rest of you will gather some interesting info from there for the rest of us who'll not make it.

Hi Bo,

I was very please to meet you and other Nikonians, Simon and Gary especially, yesterday in flesh at the Photokina. And be able to discuss about the community. Its a pity that jrp was not any more there when I drop by.
I will not say that I've decide to go the Kina because of Nikonians being there, but it was 50% out of it

It was a great moment. Keep going.
