Morning....

Is there a mystical significance to 8,000 other then the fact that it is a staggering indicator of the success of the Nikonian's web site????

Somehow, or somewhere, word is being spread like wildfire about this community...

If this keeps up, my question regarding a bet is "when will we need a new server"????? (sounds of groans from Bo and JRP as well as prayers that is is a long ways off).

There might be some indirect mystical overtones to the number. Yes.
Neither the time or place to explain it here and now. Be patient.
On the new server's capacity to handle increased traffic: don't worry, we believe in strategic long range planning. So, we are safe for the next five weeks. No, just kidding
It should hold for quite a while even at our staggering current growth rate.

Who would´n´t want to be the 8000th Nikonian?
At least it was Nikon that produced the first camera to have a shutter speed of 1/8000, wasn´t it?
JRP, you´re planning five weeks in advance?
