I mean this literally, weigh in and tell me how much weight you gained on the trip. I gained exactly seven pounds (3.18 kg) on the trip. If my photos can be enlarged as good as my belt buckle, I may turn pro next week.

That mountain air, the exercise, the continuous laughs, made us hungry as just awakened bears. Three good meals a day and snacks at every ranger post and gas station did it.

You just had to get me on the scale to find out! 5 pounds here...nearly half a stone!
Although there were some great meals, I'm chalking my added weight up to the added muscle from hiking,uphill...both ways, with gear on my back! Hey, as Duck said,"It's MY lie...I'll tell it like I want"

What can we say? We let these guys go off for a week, and what do they do? Get into a feeding frenzy and a weight-gaining competition!

I'm worried, because if I go to next year's trip, who's going to prevent me turning into the first British Sumo wrestler?

I am sorry to say my photo bag didn’t gain a pound! As for me, I gained 4lbs (must have been the biscuits) it would have been 6lbs if it wasn’t for the sprint to the finish that Bo and I had on Wednesday!

Mike, our fellow Nikonians wouldn't let that happen. 4-5lbs isn’t that noticeable, but 10-20lbs and the wise cracks would start to happen...

you know, I really appreciate your kindness! What are buddies for, anyway? I get to nibble on a wafer biscuit with a bunch of overweight, Nikon-toting photogs sitting opposite me polishing off steaks the size of elephant ears...

I gather you guys had a great time, and it sounds like all of you got home safely. I wonder how much the share prices at Kodak and Fuji went up as a result...

Isn't that what friends are for? If Chuck brings his Mom on the next trip, not only will she carry our camera gear, she will feed us healthy food, like carrots and grapes.

You might get a better return on your money if you would have invested it into the Steak House rather than the film...lol

Those were quite possibly the tastiest grapes ever, especially after that journey/hike where you & Bo led us up to the picnic tables Yes, Mom/Dot must come to Nikonians Trip v2.0!
