"Tripod Web Site"

East Haven, US

LAST EDITED ON Apr-20-01 AT 01:02 PM (GMT)

Hello all. Has anyone had any experiance with these creeps? I worked for 16 hours on a new web page for my photography. It was really shaping up. I had a Nikonian banner and just some really nice photo's. This morning I go to the site to work on it some more and it was removed and my membership revoked!! Tripod states that I violated there terms of service. HOW?????? With photo's of the wife and kids? I sent them an Email and still have not received a reason. Anyone know of a host that I can build a site on?
Thanks for letting me vent
Paul Kuziel

I had an AOL Hometown site for about a year, but when I changed accounts it was wiped out. Also, I have friends who have tried Photopoint and Yahoo Geo Cities.

I had a Photopoint account which I hadn't used for ages. About a week ago I got an email saying I was going to have to pay a membership fee if I wanted to keep more than 10 photos on it.

Goodbye Photopoint...

Alan.

I have a photopoint site, haven't looked at it in over six months. They may have written to my old email address and it may be gone now.
I actually obtained my own domain name a few months ago, and have found a few places to host the site. Now all I have to do is find the time to create it and upload it to the web.
