Dennis, nice landscape. One suggestion is to perhaps crop just a smidgen from the top as there is an overabundance of just plain white going on there. I'd consider increasing saturation and contrast in the forground and just a little bit of same, to the mountains on the sides.
Now the real trick is can you say, Lake Papallacta, three times in a row, really fast?
Congratulations on a really nice image. Have fun with it,
I think this is a good image. I think there is to much yellow in it and that the clouds/fog needs more definition.
I took you image into photoshop to give you an idea of what I see in your image.
First I did a color balance adjustment to yellow moving the slider more towards the blue. second I flattened the layers duplicated the layer changed the mode to multiply, added a black layer mask, reduced my brush opacity too about 15% and painted in definition in the sky. Lastly I added a high pass filter to sharpen it just a bit.
Very nice rendering...I sure like what everyone did to the original fine image. JRP you certainly established an interesting darker image that set a certain mood. There are so many, many possibilities. We can almost always go back to revisit images and find something new to do with them.
