Please see this post which explains the procedure for selecting the monthly winner.

Many thanks to last month's winner, Roberta Davidson (birdied), for selecting the July Online Assignment (“Wide Angle”) nominees.

Below are the images submitted by the nominees.

For those of you unfamiliar with what the assignment was, here is an excerpt:

"Last month we did “Macro”. This month's assignment we’ll do the opposite - provide wall worthy images of an extreme wide angle shot of a subject. Use of a wide angle lens is preferred, but if you don’t have one, shoot at the shortest focal length you have. Be mindful of the distortion that often accompanies the use of wide angle lenses. Do you intend for such distortion to be and important element of the image? Also, be mindful of your depth of field since wide angle lenses provide a stronger depth of field. Therefore, most of your image will be in focus. Is that intended?"

This poll will run for at least 20 days. The winner of the poll will have his or her image posted in the Monthly Challenge Winners Gallery.

Nominees:
