Great shots !! I really enjoyed them especially the colours. The Dahlia is my favourite it really has so much to say.

This is what makes my decision to move up to the D7100 much easier

Thanks Charles. The D7100 is a great piece of equipment, you won't regret the move. I had originally bought it just for wildlife but now use it for everything and my D300 has been relegated to the back up role.

What made you go from the D300 to the D7100?

I will be giving my mother and her boyfriend the D3200. I will miss the D3200 but I can't help it when I see shots like your's and everyone else's that it's time for me to upgrade.

Plus I'm moving to Europe next year.......I don't just want good shots I would like great shots

Better images at higher ISOs. With the D300 I didn't like to use anything over ISO 400, although it was acceptable to around ISO 800. With the D7100, I've been up to ISO 1600 and had decent images and could probably go even higher.

All very nice Rick, sharp and nice light. #3 looks to me like it has a blue cast. Did a quick color balance in CNX2 just moving the blue slider. See what you think.

Thanks, John. That was intentional as I was trying to be a little more artistic. Included the original color image.

Thanks again John. I had sent out both versions to several people and the responses where pretty much split down the middle on the favorite of the two.
