The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the first shot was, "Darn, is the 7100 really that good? But then the old adage popped into the vacuum of my head, "It's not the camera, it is the eye behind the camera." The second thought slightly helped abate the sudden flush of NAS your photos had caused to flash through my body. These are truly great images. Very well done.
Beautiful work. I'm surprised you get this kind of clarity shooting at 1/40, even with a tripod. I guess when they are at rest they're very still, but do you have much problem with motion blur at that speed? It seems like when I'm shooting there's always a little movement of branches or leaves.
