I spotted this Australian Mud Wasp on the same bush as the Blue Damselfly I posted earlier. It wasn't until I looked at the shot on the large screen that I saw why she paced around for so long.
Check the spider hiding under the leaf beneath her tail. The female Mud wasps paralyse spiders to feed their larvae. She didn't find this one...Scotty.

This is great. Not being a entomologist I want to capture the portrait or the action. And if possible both. This photo has a lot going for it, especially the story! Thanks for sharing.
