I took advantage of the end of the season... shooting these with flash is a lot easier than without.All shot with D3, 200/f4 AFD Micro-Nikkor, 1/500th, hand held with Sigma EM-140 ring flash in iTTL mode. Most apertures f/16 but a few f/11's and f/22's.

Nice series...I like #1 though it should have been sharper. I reckon your focus has been on the flower...I like the flower and the role it played with your butterfly.
