Hi,

My first attempt to light-paint a forest in the middle of the night.
Not too sure about the color temp .

Very nice shot

But the "main" tree is not really vertical. I would give -2.5 degrees.

Very interesting idea Paul. I'd cool the temp down so the light is kind of blue, like diffused moonlight.

Hi,

Straightened the tree (some more).
Changed color temp, less red, more blue to create moonlit impression.
I am not a hero with colors, and i also don't know how it will look on your respective monitors, so if i overdid it...
I get the impression of a mountain river now

It does look a bit like a river. Maybe if it was desaturated or even a B&W white treatment would set a better mood?

Putting it all together,

A bit less of this, a bit more of that, a bit smaller, a bit more contrast etc.. Thanks all for your help.

PS, notice the (probable) elf activity on the right !
