This image was taken in a small graveyard at the edge of the Taos Pueblo. The image is an infrared photo using a converted D200 (Deep Black IR from Lifepixel - an 830nm filter). Post processing was in Nikon Capture NX2 and Silver Efex Pro.
This was taken at the very end of the day - as the pueblo was closing. I asked permission from some residents to stand in a small pasture adjoining the graveyard to make the image. Obviously there were several different composition - but this one stood out due to the single white painted cross. I never walked in the graveyard - out of respect for the local people - it just did not feel right to intrude.
