"Colorado High Country Springtime"

Not sure exactly where this belongs. It is both landscape and wildlife.

I took a ride up into the high country today for some photography and hiking. Spring is here at last. The grass is green, the wildflowers are blooming an the wildlife are feeling their oats.

Here are a couple of shots from today's hike. Taken with a Nikon D600, 105mm F2.5 AI lens and a E-Series 28mm F2.8 lens.

The wildlife is fine Andrew. But I think the Landscape wins here. #3 would be my pick. Soft colours, good dof & that little cloud fits in well with the blue sky.
I'd love to walk that stream with my fly rod too......Scotty.

Very nice shots---the whimsy of the elk cows dancing under the rugged high peaks background is an intriguing shot.

All your series here looks beautiful though I like the first one better.
