"Brisbane at night"

Hi Everyone,

Always love seeing cities at night as all the beauty is on show with the lighting transforming the boring to spectacular.
These shots are from a similar place but slighting different lighting.

What do you think ?
Which one is your favourite ?
CC ?

That looks like a nice spot to capture the cityscape. My favorite is #3 with the ferry in the foreground and the city in the background; I like #1 too, but the bush in the (center, slightly left) foreground is a little distracting. The bridge in #2 is captivating, maybe crop it so that the grass in the foreground is minimized? I like the saturated colors of all four of them.

Beautiful series Neil

Number 3 is my favorite but 1 is nice two. But I agree with K.C. The plants could be removed thru cloning or content aware tool in CS6 if you have that. That would help focus on the beautiful city scape. Very nice.

G'day Neil,

A really nice series. 3 or 4 get the chocolates for me - I really like the red/blue contrast of #4.
You really managed to get that ferry sharp in low light too - impressive.
Brisbane looking good.

I like #3 and #4 - question; the expose on #3 says 30 secs and the exposure on #4 says 1.5 secs but I would have expected the boat to be blurred?

Correct,
Two shots at 2 exposures then combined to get what i wanted and the outcome you see.
