"Wyoming Winter Landscape"

Traverse City, US

While visiting an old Air Force buddy of mine in Wyoming a few weeks ago we were driving thru the Big Horn Mountains just after a storm and found this hillside leading into the clouds beyond. Just grabbed my eye with the fence bordering the pines and those storm clouds reaching above the top of the hill.

That is lovely!

I would be tempted to try to "fix" the brown area on the center tree. It would not be easy but this is a great image, would be worth the effort.

Thanks Diane

I've looked at this shot in b&w which would resolve issues with the dead brown trees but I really prefer the color version with the contrast between the trees and sky and the light split rail fence. The brown would be easy to change with CS6 but it was part of the natural color scheme here and didn't seem to distract form the shot. Although I agree having a nice patch of healthy green trees would be preferable here. Appreciate your comments

Peter
