"red dawn"

D800, 28-300 Single exposure. I'm constantly surprised at what this 28-300 can do .... Using it more now my 24-120 is in for repair ...

Anyway, comments appreciated on the image ...

A nice image (as alaways). Just one thing I'm not so sure of is the curve of the sky in the top right corner. I find that catches my eye and distracts me just a little.

The sky color and definition in the mountain are absolutely wonderful!

I agree about the sky in the upper right, and could do without the right-hand tree as well. So maybe crop out the right-hand tree and a little off the top to keep a more pleasing ratio. Worth a try? Easy to discard if I'm completely off base.

Keep up the good work. I always enjoy your posts.

Dave
