"Moon over the volcano"
Sun 02-Dec-12 07:33 PM by snaefell

Hi,
when Eyjafjallajökull erupted in 2010 it was first a relative small fissure eruption (the flight disrupting eruption came later). At that time I was able to take photos of the eruption and during my first visit near the volcano we had a very nice moon rise over the scene during the blue hour. If your are looking for the volcano: Its below the smoke cloud (as I said, it was pretty small first).

That is very interesting. Will you be posting some of the bigger eruption shots? I would love to see some! Thanks Bertotti
