"Ellison Bay After Sunset"

Elgin, US

This image was taken after sunset in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. I liked the colors, and the slight water blurring from the 5-second exposure time. The camera was about 6 inches above the rocks on the tripod, and I used a 10-24mm Nikon to get the effect I was looking for.

Hi Richard. Lovely image! I can se why you were attracted to the colors - and the low perspective gives a nice balance between foreground interest and background simplicity.

Great shot. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Richard

I like low angle perspectives like this. I'm thinking some of those rocks are going to be under water next spring.

Nice looking composition - the long exposure gave that frosty smooth water look - good work.
