"Sunset, Heron Pond"

US

I am lucky to have several county parks within 20 mins of my home and discovered this one has a small pond that makes for some nice reflective sunsets when the weather cooperates. Last night things weren't looking too good when a couple walked by and said there was a nice scene with a duck standing on a log just a short walk away. That tip saved the evening.

Very nice Dave. The only thing I am curious about is why a duck would be standing on a sunken tree trunk rather than floating in the water!

Thanks Tom. I'm just happy this one decided to stand rather than swim.

That's really nice Dave. It would be nice without the duck, but the wildlife/environmental portrait is the icing on the cake.
