"Colorful Life Along The Volga"

San Jose, US

As we cruised down the Volga near Yaroslavl, we came upon this riot of color along the shore. Who says Russia is drab and grey?

Hi Karen:

I was really surprised when this came into view. I was amazed at the really bright colors. Prior to this trip, my impression of Russia was that it was all grey and drab -boy was I WRONG.

Bob,

Very nice and colorful. Before I clicked on the larger version my first impression on this smaller image made me wondering if this was not a miniature village and electric trains should be running in the foreground. I just don't see many colorful towns so I thought is was a model

Albert this was one image that I HAD to capture. The colors were so wild and bright that I knew no one would believe me if I described it without proof.
