Two and a half hours and 200 exposures are tiring when you're managing heavy gear! At least these two guys sat still while I shot them, more than I can say for the Gulls and Pelicans and two GBH's that soared right overhead. D300 with Nikon 500 and 1.4TC, f5.6 and f7.1, ISO 500, rev

T.J. I feel these are great shots and worth all of the effort. Thanks for posting.
I equate this to playing golf.....17 holes of hacking away at the stupid little ball and then on 18 you "find your game" and smack a great shot or two. Well after the game you chat with your friends about the next round of golf....good shots keep you coming back for more.
Stay with it my friend, you're only as old as you think you are....(I can say that now..I just retired.. )
