"Backyard Visitors"
Sat 09-Mar-13 03:38 PM by Hycgelac

A wonderful variety (17 different kinds) invaded my yard recently. These show the variety of visitors. D80 with Nikon 500 mm and 1.4 TC at f/5, 1/500, ISO 1600.

Nice set. What were the other 14 species?

Take care,

Had to find my list: Brown-headed Nuthatch, Nuthatch, Chickadee, Dove, Bluejay, White-throated Sparrow, Tufted Titmouse, Pileated Woodpecker, Pine Siskin, Purple Finch, Downy Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Junco, Robin, Cardinal, Bluebird, Red-bellied Woodpecker. For several of these I've been lucky enough to have both male and female versions. Today was the very first time I've ever seen both male and female Downy Woodpeckers.
