These are a few shots I took this past weekend
All photo's taken with a D3s and 600mm f/4

female Mallard Duck
1/320 at f/7.1 ISO 800


Canada Goose

Red-tailed Hawk

Male Mallard Duck

Well done as usual Dave. I'm reserving judgement on the colours: I've never seen the blue/violet iridescence in a male mallard's cap - but that doesn't mean it isn't there!

As we have discussed many times while in the field. My memory for colour isn't the best

except for the crop, this is exactly how it came from the camera
