This is a very infrequent visitor to my house. D300 with Nikon 500 and 1.4TC at f9, 1/400, ISO 1600.

Hi TJ. Beautiful bird, one I have not seen, and you did a nice job capturing detail. The second is my favorite, primarily because the bird's head is within that bright spot. The other three photos, my eye goes to the bright spot and does not stay on the bird.

If possible, I suggest re-arranging the perch or your shooting position/method such that you do not get that bright spot in your photos.
