driving down the highway in Minnesota i came by this eagle sitting in a tree on the side of the highway, as i was taking some pictures a transport drove by scaring off the eagle and allowing me to capture this sequence

D3s, 300 F/4, 1/2000, F/4. ISO 640

Hi Brian,

This is a wonderful series of photos of the eagle. Nice colours, fine details and amazing sharpness. The first one is my favourite due to the nice display of the feathers in both wings.

Fantastic dynamic range in these Brian! One of the reasons I seldom comment on bald eagles and ospreys here is the extent to which the dark colours block up. Really well done.
