"Can you identify this Hawk?"

My winter project is to organize my birds of the U.S. library on my Mac. I've been going over the dozens of file photos I've collected around the country and found one stumper. Not sure about this hawk. Shot this on a back road returning to Liberal Kansas near the Colorado border a couple years ago. Could use some help indentifying this by the hawk experts here. Appreciate the help
