Excellent capture Jim, nice details in the shadows and highlights. Was thinking of possibly heading out on Thursday, but by then (if not already) the snow on the ground will probably have all melted. Of course, doesn't matter if you can catch him in the air like this!

Which is why I waited with the 300 f2.8 for hours until he took one flight that wasn't occasioned by a store-bought mouse. I never did see what he picked up - it wasn't big.
