Dear Friends,

Here is the first batch of Birds from Kenya trip.

Martial Eagle is the largest of the African eagles capable of lifting fawns. These are well cropped images.

Kori Bustard: This is regarded as the heaviest flying bird of Africa male weighing upto 18 Kgs.

Hooded Valturs: These were shot near a Lion kill, second one is landing near the kill.

All shot with D3, Nikkor 200-400 VR,ISO 400, from Vehicle Bean bag and HH.

Very nice series, Paku. What a great trip that must have been, with such a variety of interesting birds! My favorite(s): the vulture shots. Can't decide which though. I like the action of the landing vulture, but the two vultures staring intently into each other's eyes is very nice too. Good job!
