"Which flash for N60?"

I'm new to photography and want to surprise my wife with a flash. I've read that the sb50dx is good, but will it work well with the N60? If not, which flash is better for around $200? I'm think she wants remote flash capability.

You may want to look at a used SB-24, 25 or 26. The 26 seems to be close to the Holy Grail because of it's slave capabilities but they can be hard to find. Personally I picked up a second-hand SB-24 for almost exactly the price you mention (give or take some exchange rate factors) and have been very happy with it on my F80.

Good luck,

If you want remote flash, I think the SB50dx is your only option in that price range. I am very happy with mine. Any other flash requires the purchase of an SU-4 for around $100 US.
