Hi everyone, I have the sb 600 and 700. Do they make any other kind of stands for those other than what they come with? I have both my stands but they are pretty flimsy and seem to fall over all the time. I need something just a little bit sturdier. I need them to sit on a table for my waterdrop photography. Any suggestions? Thankds.
I guess I didn't know they made table top tripods, that's something I shall look into. Yeah, I did have a gorilla pod, but my flash just seemed so top heavy. or maybe I was trying to use my camera on that, I can't rememeber. I'll have to go and dig it out and try again. That was many moons ago that I bought it...hey thanks for the table top tripod tip....
Table to - just any small tripod will do - I use the Manfrotto ones. If you want something taller then just have a look on Amazon - a standard light stand will hold a strobe easily. I use a couple that cost next to nothing - the supplied stand screws on top and there you go.

You can also buy light weight light stands from most photographic suppliers usually for under $30 that will extend to 7 feet and contract to under two feet for carrying. These could add some flexibility to your lightinng evelation angle.
