My buddy just got his Canon speedlights w/ the built in radio transmitters. I assisted for him and these things are awesome! Anyone heard if/when Nikon will come out w/ a similar unit?

Hi Doug,

Anyone that does know Nikons product plans will have signed a non-disclosure agreement and can not talk or write about it.
Remember that Nikon is very good at keeping secrets.
That said, I suspect that they are working on it as we speak.
If you need RF wireless flash control and for those of us with a sizable collection of Speedlights already, the Pocket Wizard MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 are the best alternative unless you have the means to replace your current "Herd" at an even higher price per unit than the SB-910. If IF wireless is working for you now, I am sure a new RF Speedlight will provide backward compatibility to IR wireless flash control.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

Best Regards,
Marty
