Tks JRP,
Now an iPad for Xmas is essential I guess!
It appears that a download to an iPad is OK? Not just Kindle?
Showing my age now, I didn't even know what a "kindle" was
Will be interesting to read the R1C1 info, new toy for me

Edit,
Ordered the book today!
For it to work on an iPad, I need a "Kindle" app apparently
The Kindly app did not fair too well in the feedback
Regards,
Gary

Hi Gary: that's not the case if you buy it from the iBooks store -- that's where I bought the electronic version that's on my iPad (I bought the hard copy directly from Mike at his CLS workshop last May); no Kindle app needed - just iBooks. If you buy it from Amazon you would probably need a Kindle app. -Glenn

Hi Glenn
I now have the iPad up and running,
Bought Mike Hagen's book but noticed the "creative lighting system" in iBooks was by different authors, "Thomas" and "Edwards", not by Mike Hagen
Regards,
Gary

Hi Glenn,
Finally worked it out,
The book was not available from the "Australian" store?
I was doing another search today,
I was re-directed to the "American store" and there it was!

The only way I got to that point was to google the heading an follow to get there,
If I just searched on the "Australian" store, I could not find it

And I assure you, Australians do use Nikons!
Regards,
Gary

Just got this book today! Man there is a lot in there between the blogs I have been linked to and this book I now have a whole lot more studying to do! So far I have already learned a lot but all of this is going to take more then a once through to really understand!

Edit to add: a nice nikonians membership offer in there as well, to bad mine doesn't run out until mid next year.

Hi

Thanks for this hint. I bought the SB910 speedlight last year, but have just been fumbling my way through. Looks like this book will give me a structured learning process instead!

I've just bought my first Speedlite today (SB-700) so this seems like a great complementary purchase. Downloading from the UK Kindle store right now...

Just picked mine up last night. Loved it. Lots of theory, and flash setup. Just what I needed to get started, with my SB700.

Thank you.
