"How good is the Sunpak 555?"

I photograph sports and skateboarding, and was going to get a better flash for nightime shoots of the skateboarding. I have heard the Sunpak 555 is a good, inexpensive flash and it has a high guide number. Does anyone have any experience with one? Are they good? Comments please.
