I wish to use this set up for night time sports pictures (mountainbiking at night!).

Is it possible to just have the SB22 flashing? (which would be off-camera and lying 20 feet in front of me). In other words does the F80's built-in flash HAVE to fire in order to trigger the off-camera SB22?

Basically I only want there to be light coming out of the off-camera SB22 flash. Having to have to F80's built-in flash firing too (and thus illuminating a foreground area I don't want illuminating) would not be desirable.

If this is the case, how can I lessen the impact of the built-in flash illumination?, or what set up do I need to buy to achieve my aims?

Thanks in advance,

Benjami
