Help needed to choose the right Speedlight
I am working with my insurance company to get some older equipment replaced that was stolen.
I had, among other things, a Minolta 280 PX flash unit. It was a TTL flash, with dual power settings, and a diffuser.
I need to find a comperably powered flash in the Speedlight series since I will be replacing everything with Nikon equipment due to the lack of professional quality Minolta lenses currently available.
According to the charts on the 280PX the effective range of the flash was:
66 feet @ 50 ASA
72 feet @ 64 ASA
92 feet @ 100 ASA
184 feet @ 400 ASA
I know I never used the flash at distances like this, but I want to make sure I get an equivalent replacement for my equipment, even thought it was old. The insurance company is really devaluting my equipment so I am having to "negotiate" on every piece to get equivalent replacements.
Any suggestions from anyone?

The SB22s has a GN of around 92, is TTL, has one manual setting, and four auto settings.
