"SB-900 and GF Light Sphere II/Whale Tale"

San Francisco, US

I just picked up an SB-900 and found my Light Sphere II for my SB-800 won't fit it.

I picked up a Whale Tale Reporter and I don't like the way it feels or fits.

Does anyone know which Light Sphere II will fit other than the Universal?

And does anyone have any experience with the Universal? How does it fit and feel? I like the old Light Sphere and would like to get the same type for the SB-900 but I want to make sure of how things fit and feel before my next purchase...

Also, what I mean by feel is the type of plastics used for the product. The Whale Tale is a little harder or more rigid type of plastic and to me the makeup of the product seems a little cheap. I do like the original Light Sphere II but will need to do the measurements to see if there is a compatible size.

I have the universal lightsphere and it does fit my SB900. It's very tight and covers the fresnel by about 2mm but it fits and I do not see any ill effect by the tightness on any of my images.
