I recently purchased an FM2n, and am interested in a Speedlight. I have never used any external flash, though, and am new to the Nikon world. (I've used EOS for several years, but decided I had become too reliant on electronics. So I got an FM2 and am absolutely loving it. It's brought back the fun of photography for me.)

My flash experience has been limited to the little pop-up flash on EOS cameras, which I rarely have used for anything other than snapshots and occasionally some fill.

I know the FM2n doesn't have TTL flash metering, and I know I need at least an SB15 if I want the flash-ready light to work. But beyond that, I'm at sea. Any advice? I certainly don't want to pay for a bunch of features that the FM2n can't use.

Thanks.
