"SD-8A and SB80dx compatibiltiy"

Hi all,
I currently run digital and film bodies. I have an SB800 to take of the digital side of flash and an SB80dx on my F100 for film flash. To enhance recycling times during long shoots I have considered buying an SD-8A battery pack for the SB800. Does the SD-8A also fit/suit the SB80dx?
Can't find too much info on the web about compatibilty.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The SB-80DX manual is at http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/manuals/Speedlights/SB-80DX.pdf

Search that pdf for SD-8A, and it is mentioned several times as compatible. The SD-8A is pretty old, it is in the SB-28 manual too.

Many thanks for the prompt response. Good to know that the SD-8A will look after both the SB800 and the SB80dx. Looks like I'll be hunting one down in the near future.
