I dropped my SB600 the other day. It seemed to work fine so I put it on the camera to shoot some stuff and now I can't get it off. I suspect I broke whatever mechanism retracts the little peg that holds it in the hot shoe. Does anyone know how to fix this or am I forever stuck with a speedlight attached to my camera??

Flip the pin lever over to unlock, turn the camera upside down and while wiggling the flash very gently in the hotshoe see if gravity will come to your aid.
Sorry, that's all I can think of that doesn't involve screwdrivers or hacksaws.
