"P500 or L120?"

Is anyone here using either of these?

I'm looking for a suitable upgrade for my wife (for her OLD digital PS zoom) who is not an "SLR shooter" but certainly an avid digital photo hobbiest.

I don't know much about either but I do know the L120 has very little user control vs the P500 that you can shoot much like a DSLR with alot of manual control. I would also suspect the AF system on the P500 is faster with less shutter lag.

I would recommend you go to a store and try them both out. Plus maybe someone who has one will chime in.
