"Coolpix 880 Shutter Confirmation"

I'm having one problem using my Coolpix 880: I can never tell when it has taken the picture. The shutter is so quite that it can't be heard. Has anyone else encountered this difficulty, and how have you dealt with it?

If the 880 is like the 990, look under the setup menu for an shutter confirmation sound. If you enable it, the camera will beep upon shutter release.
