"Newly aquired P7700"

I've just bought a P7700 to use when I don't want to carry my D200 and lenses around with me. So far I'm pleased with the P7700 though I haven't yet used it other than for a few snaps to try it out and make sure it's functioning correctly.

I'm wondering if there an adaptor that will allow me to use my MC-30 remote cable with the P7700?

I doubt there is, and if it exists it's certainly not sold by Nikon. However, the P7700 takes both the MC-DC2 and ML-L3 remotes, either of which costs about what I'd expect an adapter for your MC-30 would cost, if it exists at all.

For my P7000 I got a reasonably priced IR remote off ebay which has worked perfectly. It is convenient that there are IR sensors front and rear.

Thanks for the quick replies. I guessed that would be the case but wanted to check before I splashed the cash for an MC-DC2. I might also get an ML-L3 - it's a shame I sold one when I moved from a D70 to my D200. It's useful that the P7700 has IR sensors both front and rear
