"Too much saturation with D40?"

US	I'm heading off to do some portraits today and I was curious as to how I can lower saturation? My portraits seem to come out way to saturated when I really want to get nice, clear and bright shots! Any advice?

US	Hi Megan, In the Shooting Menu (Camera icon) Under Optimize image what are your settings? If you have Vivid or More Vivid set change it to Normal or Portrait. Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons! Best Regards, Marty
